  1. First, wash fish twice and thrice with haldi powder and salt. Drain the water and marinate the fish haldi powder, salt, and 1 tsp mustard oil. Mix. well and keep aside. Heat oil in a grill pan and fry the fish till it is light brown in color both the side. Once it is done the transfer to a plate.
  2. Mean while grind the onion, black pepper cods, tomato, green chili, ginger, and garlic into a paste. Keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a Kadai. Fry cumin seeds for few seconds then add the paste. Saute it for 2 minutes. Add haldi powder and salt. Again mix. well. In a grinder, the masala is their so add water and pour to the curry. Add fried fish and boil it for 3 to 5 minutes till the fish is cooked well.
  4. Now it is done. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve with steamed rice.
