- Wash clean all fishes, coat the fishes the lime juice to remove the fishy smell. After few minutes, rinse the fishes and set aside.
- Prepare the marinate for the tofu and fish: pound turmeric, garlic, coriander seed and salt in pestle and mortar. Add a bit of water (1-2 tbsp). Taste and adjust the salt if needed. - For the fish: no need to add more water. Spread this marinate to all fishes’ surface and leave it in the fridge for few hours.
- For the tofu: add the water until cube tofus are submerged in the marinate water. You may need to add more salt as it wont be salty once you add more water
