  22. 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  23. 1 tsp cumin powder
  24. 1/2 tsp curry powder/ fish masala
  25. As per requirement Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions to make to make Vegetarian fish curry

  1. Marinate steamed raw banana with salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala. Mix. Add besan. Coat by tossing, so that the bananas get unevenly coated. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes. Next heat oil for shallow frying. Put marinated bananas for frying. As they get fried from both sides. Strain well and keep aside. Do not fry excess else it will become hard.
  2. Next place a kadhai, heat with oil. Splutter panch phoron. Put onion for sauteing. As it turns brownish, add masala paste made with ginger, garlic,cardamoms and cinnamon powder.
  3. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder. Mix. Let the masala get cooked. Now add the drumsticks.
  4. Cover and cook. As it's cooked, add water. Cook for some more time.
  5. Add water as you want. As it comes to boil, add chopped coriander leaves and curry powder.
  6. Add the fried bananas. Mix. Keep the flame medium and let it get cooked. The bananas will absorb the flavours of the gravy and becomes soft and meaty. Keep curry consistency as per your preference. It's ready... VEGETARIAN FISH CURRY is ready to serve with rice...
