  19. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  20. 3 tbsp sugar
  21. 1/2 tsp salt
  22. 1/2 white pepper
  23. 1/2 crushed black pepper
  24. 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  25. Pinch red food color
  26. 1/2 cup water

Steps to make to make Sweet and sour fish

  1. FISH: add 1 beaten egg to a bowl, mix in 3 tbsp corn flour and 3 tbsp flour(maida). Add salt, black pepper and white pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add 1 tsp oil to a batter. Make a thick batter, add fish.
  3. Coat the batter properly on the fish pieces.
  4. Heat up 1/2 cup oil and fry fish pieces until golden brown. And the fish is tender.
  5. SAUCE: add 1/4 cup oil to a pan add 1 tsp chopped garlic. Sauté it for 1 minute. Don’t burn the garlic.
  6. Now add 1/2 cup ketchup, 3 tbsp sugar and 1/4 cup vinegar. Mix it really well.
  7. Add 1/4 cup water, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper, and 1/2 tsp red chili flakes. Add pinch of red food color.
  8. Mix all the spices add veggies and 1/4 cup water.
  9. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Then add the fried fish. Mix and it’s ready😊
