  1. Wash the fish pieces properly and marinate with salt,1tsp turmeric powder,1tsp chilli powder and 2tsp chaat masala powder.Leave it for 1/2an hour.
  2. Now roast the onions, garlic cloves and ginger pieces in a pan in 2tsp oil.
  3. Cool it.Now make a fine paste of them.
  4. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and add bay leaves,star anise, black cardemom, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds.
  5. Now add the green onions and fenugreek leaves.Then add the paste and mix well.
  6. Now heat the oil in another pan and deep fry the fish pieces.
  7. Now make the tomato puree.
  8. Add this puree to the paste
  9. Now add the salt and dry spices.
  10. Now add sufficient water to make curry and boil it for 15mn.
  11. Now add the fish pieces.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves
